Great picture to bring in the new year! Im with you in thinking the single chara pieces are cool as is. But maybe another way to spice them up is more dynamic posing? Or interacting with objects? Maybe variants of them wearing different outfits? Looking forward to your future works!

Hm, yea, those could work, but my gripe is with the backgrounds really, I'm never sure on what to do with them

Looking great! Shadowing very nice. Would make interesting skins for her if she was in a fighter.

I'm glad you like it. I actually wanted to make a fighting game and feature her as a character, so I made an alternate outfit that gave her a tougher look more fitting for a fighting game. The game never went anywhere, but maybe I'll come back to it one day.
